Saturday 4:15-5:45 Bikrams Cambie - Danny

This was my first class with Danny since I have been back at Bikrams Vancouver. He is the same. I would love to say I had a way better class today and everything is back to normal but I can't say that. I can say that I had a better class today and I only missed one right triangle. I did everything else... although I didn't hold everything to the end. It was hot and the class was full. Danny randomly held doors open though - that really helped.

I am going back tomorrow!

Wednesday Run 6.46 Km 34:04 Mins

I thought it was going to start pouring so I decided before I left that I would run Cambie bridge and back around Science World - an easy 4km. However, the sun was shining through the clouds a bit and I thought maybe I should run the run I originally wanted to run which is the Cambie - Burrard bridge run. When I got to the bridge ramp there was an old man in a red shirt at the top of the ramp. When I got to the top he was a ways a way but I thought - if he takes the stairs I will go the same way he goes and that will make my decision. He went right so I went right too. And then he was gone. He must live somewhere there. Anywho, it was a good decision. I really like that run. It is the perfect length, with hills and nice scenery. I have said that before.

Tuesday 5:30-6:30 Street Jazz - Moses

I was looking forward to taking Jo's class but Moses was teaching. Ok... sexy, gay style. I felt fat and gross and ugly and gay! hahaha!! Oh well... worked my brain and got sweaty. I just wish I had some friends in these classes... it would make them more fun. See... I said it was fun.

I saw Moe at the front desk. That made me feel bad for not being back to her class in a while. Oh well.. I will get back in the swing of Saturday classes soon.

I forgot Carrie's birthday on the 25th... Sunday. I just called her... she is busy moving stuff from her old place to her parents' place. I am so excited for her to come back downtown :-)

Sunday 12-1:30 Bikrams Cambie - Kirsten B

This was my forth crappy class in a row! Kits, Cambie, Cambie, Cambie. Julia, Tanya, Mari, Kirsten. There was one good thing about this class. I was able to do rabbit. it felt good to stretch out my upper back. I did one set of all of the balancing series. I was too hot and dizzy to do more but I kept getting back up and doing at least one set. It was hot the second I walked in. My shins were sweating during the first breathing exercise and my hair was soaked by the second half moon. I thought I was being smart - this time I stood right under a fan. That only helps when she turns the fan on!

Anywho - it sucked. I am happy I went and I am happy that it is over. I look forward to going back next Friday and Saturday and kicking yogas ass! Check out grams up there... if she can do it... I can do it!

Saturday Run 4.04 Km 20:44 Mins.

Jonny's back is out... so we have been lazy the last two days. I forced myself to get up and go this morning. It is so sunny outside!! I love it! I ran around Science World and back across the Cambie Street Bridge. There were lots of people out enjoying the sun. I think spring has finally sprung. Too bad there is only one day left of spring break!!

Wednesday 9:30-11:00am Bikrams Cambie - Mari

I thought I was going to be fine this class. This was the class I was going to be back in action and able to do everything but I struggled with the heat and my rising heart rate during the balancing postures again. I did at least one set of each and kneeled for the other set and focussed on my breathing. I told myself in my head that FRIDAY is my day. Friday my goal is to balance out my effort. I am not going to try as hard at the beginning... I am going to pace myself so I can get through everything without sitting down.

My wings were really hurting during rabbit.

I forced my ankle a lot during eagle and it doesn't hurt now.

My right hammy was a little flexier today.

The teacher, Mari, is a dancer.

The old Asian man that stood beside me once at Kits was there. I like him.

Tuesday 6.6 Km 34:50 Mins

I did the Cambie - Burrard bridge run this morning. It is the first time I have done the bridge run since my ankle. I really like running over the bridges and getting see the view from up high. I think this is one of my favourite runs. It is the perfect length - it has some hill but not much - and there are lots of things to look at. It is sunnier in the morning on the Granville island side of the C wall too.

I thought of Jonny a lot during this run because the last time I was over on this side we were walking over there. Under the Burrard street bridge is where we thought of tandeming our headphones. There are the stairs by the water where we stole a kiss. And by the fish market where I found out he was called peanut when he was little too. That seems like a long time ago now.

Anywho - awesome run!! I love getting up and getting my work out done. It makes my day better.
